  1. I had previous knowledge about the Berlin Wall before the presentation but you guys included details in that helped me to learn more. I especially didn’t know about the thickness of the wall, for example, and the picture you added helped me better understand how huge this wall was. I enjoyed the presentation and the organization of it. You might consider adding a video of when the Berlin Wall actually fell. Ive seen a video in the past and I feel like the video could’ve helped the audience understand how the end if the wall felt for those impacted by it and would’ve let us feel it ourselves.

  2. I really liked this presentation, the intro was very nice. I noticed you did not look at your notes very much during the presentation, which tells me you know a lot about the subject.

  3. This presentation had fantastic slide design. There were good pictures with simple text that allowed elaboration on your part. There was this one slide that had just a plain, black background with big, white text that I loved in particular. It just allowed the audience to think for themselves. You guys also did a great job with the Q&A.
You might consider increasing your speaking volume. While I was never straining to hear you guys, there were definitely times that it wasn't a comfortable listening volume.

  4. The presentation theme really fits the Berlin Wall. I thought the designs for the Berlin Wall was an interesting way to present the complexity of the design. Surprising fact that this was built overnight. It would be nice to see an anecdote of someone describing how people escaped the wall to the other side.

  5. I had some previous knowledge about the Berlin Wall, but I didn’t know that the first construction of it occurred overnight. I find that to be fascinating. You guys had great content in the presentation and kept my attention through it all. I would possibly recommend a little more practice. At times, the presentation seemed just a little choppy.

  6. I knew some things about the Berlin wall but not too much. The most interesting thing to me was the actual structure of the wall and how there were tank holes, so if a tank attempted to run into the wall, it would fall into the hole. Another thing that was very fascinating was how the wall was built overnight, separating people from their families and there wasn't time for anyone to say goodbye. The information was organized well. The only thing I would've changed was that you could have been a bit louder at times but otherwise great job!

  7. I heard about the Berlin Wall and its fall but not much in details. You guys did really well with capturing the important part that it was built overnight which I don't think most people know about this). I also really how you started with statistics which very different from other presentations. A small suggestion would be to speak a little louder and slow down the speed a little bit. But overall, I think you guys did a wonderful job!

  8. Great job on your presentation. You had lots of research on the topic and you guys did a good job sharing it with the audience. I really liked your call to action. It was very inspirational and something that many people don't consider in their day to day lives. One thing that could've made the presentation stronger is more information about the wall today and how it has changed.

  9. Even though we learned about the Berlin Wall is school in the past, there was never this much information about it. Some of the information presented was just insane like how it went up overnight. I couldn't even imagine that. Also the fact that 100,000 tried to escape is quite a large number but they had good reason to want to do that. The presentation was actually really good and held my attention.

  10. This iconic moment in history was well explained in this presentation. The explanation of the layout of the wall was greatly appreciated. When I imagined this wall in my head it was merely a brick or concrete wall that separated Germany. This presentation helped me understand what the wall represents and what the fall of it means. You may want to consider having both people answer the questions. Overall a fun presentation to listen to

  11. I knew a good amount about the Berlin wall before but I did not know they put it up overnight, I am really glad that was included. You had a lot of great information but I felt like there was a lot of interruptions. (Um and Like specifically) However, the presentation itself was great!

  12. I had always heard about the Berlin Wall from previous classes throughout high school but I really never felt that I knew too much about it. I can say that has changed after your presentation though! I learned so much more about the Berlin Wall. My favorite part of your presentation was your call to action. It was extremely powerful and think it is true to all of us to never take anything for granted. I would have liked to see more about how citizens reacted to the building of the wall. Over all I think your presentation was awesome and very well done. Great job!

  13. I was clueless to anything about the Berlin Wall and I have been always been curious as to what it was. Your presentation helped to inform me more and teach me things that I had always wondered. Your image of the wall and it's thickness really helped in understanding what it was and how it worked. Your call to action was great, awesome presentation!

  14. The fall of the Berlin Wall is an iconic moment in history, and is known by many people all around the world. It was presented well in class and, I believe, you two taught me quite a bit about it! I always thought it was just a wall with guard towers attached to it, I had no clue about the death strip that lied within. I also liked your call to action and thought it fit quite well. I would have liked to hear more citizens reactions to it, such as those who were separated from their families, but overall good job!

  15. This presentation was very informative. I had never heard of checkpoint Charlie before this presentation. I think that was very interesting. I had also never heard of the area betweeen the wall. This group could have done a little more research. During the question session, they did not know some of the answers.

  16. I didn't know much about the Berlin Wall before your presentation. Your presentation very fluent and was very organized. I think it was crazy that the wall was literally built overnight and people had no chance to even say goodbye, it breaks my heart. I really loved your call to action because it brought all the information to a deeper level. It would be interesting to see how certain families were effected by the separation.

  17. Bailey and Harmeet, I enjoyed your presentation! I very vaguely had known about the Berlin Wall before your presentation. However, I learned so much during your presentation! I did not realize that the Wall had such intense security and precautions that made it nearly impossible to get through, as well as how traumatic and sad the Wall actually is for separating families and friends, chaning lives forever. One suggestion that I have as far as presenting went, I think that you could have spoken a bit louder and let your thoughts flow better. At times I really struggled to hear and there were a few awkward pauses here and there. Overall, great presentation!

  18. Love the topic, and love the way you guys presented it. I thought the visuals were quite good. I especially loved seeing president Reagan's speech (even though you ended it before the best part). Overall, a very good presentation, and I thought you guys made it flow very well.
